The word Canada is derived from the Huron-Iroquois Kanata, which means a village or settlement. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward to the Arctic Ocean. Its southern and western border with the United States. Ottava is the capital of Canada and its three largest metropolitan areas are Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Apart from Canada’s size, it is one of the sparsely populated countries.
